Pride in Our Project

At the end of January, we visited the site of one our completed structures in Ladysmith. It is the proud new 7740 square meter home of Sack Force (Pty) Ltd. Johann Hattingh from Sack Force spoke to us about his business, and his obvious pride in the company which he and his brother have built.

Sack Force (Pty) Ltd specialises in the manufacture and supply of custom printed, high quality 7kg and 10kg white- and brown paper potato bags. All bags comply with the required specifications and Sack Force also complies with the Potatoes South Africa’s Code of Conduct. Clients can either make use of Sack Force’s generic designs for bags at minimal cost, or can use their own design. Important to know and highly recommended, is that Sack Force’s block bottom bags ensure a perfectly formed square bottom for a better presentation which is self-standing for easier filling on automatic lines. Double-lined for added protection, Sack Force’s bags will not tear and will prevent moisture and light from reaching the contents, while at the same time allowing the bag to “breathe”.Nationally, some 160 million bags are produced each year. Of this total, Sack Force currently produces approximately 100 million, and with the move to their smart new premises, Johann now has capacity to produce almost all the national requirement.

SpanAfrica Steel Structures is proud to be associated with Sack Force (Pty) Ltd, and Krantzkor Boerderye Ltd.
