With a rising demand for small-scale factories in Hilton, KwaZulu-Natal, Span Africa got on board with a private developer to help establish a Business Park that would cater to the needs of SMEs in the area. A major benefit for entrepreneurs in the Hilton, the business park saves them time and money from not having to drive the gauntlet to PMB or Mkondeni for a mini-factory premises.
Our steel was used to construct the frames for the Hilton Business Park’s buildings and units which range from 152m² to 415m², all with a mezzanine office, downstairs kitchenette and toilet facility. It has the advantage of strong bearing capacity and resilience that ensures the stability of the overall structures. Due to the long-lasting nature of steel, our roofing has a longer lifespan and won’t need to be replaced as frequently as traditional building materials.
